By day, I’m a happy system-slinger analyzing code, chasing sign-offs, and deploying like a pro. Tech stuff? I eat it for breakfast.

By night, I transform into a knit-wit, gleefully untangling yarn, counting stitches, and melting soap no lab coat required.

Knitting:  My go-to therapy

Collecting Books: Slightly obsessive (okay, very)

Cooking: Only when I don’t get too creative

Soap-Making : Learned it 7 years ago, finally doing it now (because procrastination is an art too). 

Recently picked it up again, now joyfully mixing, melting, and mentally jogging my memory to stay cool and creative - one sudsy bar at a time!

Baking  Bread? Rock-solid on attempt one. Cake? Great… if you like pancakes. 😅

My dad (and a few other curious characters 👀) keeps it real with his signature line:

“Kya milega isme, beta?” (What will you get from this?)

My answer: “Joy, Abba... and some late-night order packing.”

My 7.8-year-old daughter Anum drops pearls of wisdom like: “It’s not big science, BRO.” 🎓

My husband? Half the time he’s asking if this hijab thing is a “mood or a plan.” 😂

And my forever friend she’s the real MVP. No filters, no sugarcoating, just: “Give it a shot.” (And she even shared her Canva Pro login goals! 💕)

So here I am juggling motherhood, spreadsheets, shipping labels, and bubble wrap doing the best I can with duas and dry shampoo.

Why Shaazma Creations?

Naming this brand felt like naming a baby except this baby came with logistics, packaging, and SEO nightmares. 😅

The name Shaazma (شازمہ) means rare or unique in Urdu just like each hijab I curate.

Shaheeda – That’s me 

Azmath – My husband, my sometimes-supportive, sometimes-supportive-ish sidekick

So, Shaazma = Shaheeda + Azmath + one budget-friendly domain (because the other names were expensive enough to buy 300 hijabs 😭)

This brand is my little patch of authenticity where hijabs are more than fashion. They’re identity. They’re stories. They’re love wrapped in chiffon and satin.

I don’t know where this road leads, but I’ve got duas, determination, and one-half risen vanilla cake to take me there.
